Is there anything I can do?

Hello!

Recently my little sister told me that she has RA.

I really do not know much about it. I have only read about avemar and a few facts in a doctors dictionary.

My sister will come for a visit next month and I would like to know if I could do anything to help her.

So I am looking for useful things (and of course mistakes to avoid).

Would be nice, if you can help me.

The best thing you can do is what you are doing now. The problem I always ran into with my friends and family that do not have RA is that they really had/have no idea what all RA entails. It's frustrating when you are having a flare and someone tells you it's because you need to exercise more. The more you read up about it the better you will understand it. I think it's awesome you are interested and care enough to help your sister this way. A support system really does make a big difference.
