There's a lot of discussion right now about whether or not Chicago should get the 2016 Olympics and whether or not the President should be so involved in the situation. What's your take?

This is a coincidence - I wasn't aware of Chicago's bid to get the Olympics but I just heard on CNN that it's out of the running.
Personally I don't pay a lot of attention to the Olympics, but I admire the individuals who train to make their dreams come true.
Speaking of Olympics, I'll be interested in seeing how well the winter Olympics go in Vancouver next year.

It would have been great to have the Olympics in the US, but I do not think that the states can handle that right now...like $wise

Hi, Whether Chicago or not, I watch Olympic with awestruck as the event gives chance for hundreds of athletes to prove their mettle. Even though I am ardent fan of F1 and then to football, I love the gymnast in Olympic. And also watch almost all the available games during Olympic.

Olympics is such a great event and the place it will be held once in four years does not matter at all. It is the spirit with which the nations vie with one another that matters the most. New countries that have not won gold or silver should win during the olympics. There are several countries which have not won a single medal in any of the previous olympics.

Well, Chicago lost, not surprisingly (the US is not popular around the world at this time), but we have Vancouver to look forward to in February.
