I've treated my arthritis with glucosamine, but I should mention that my case is relatively mild compared to many.
I'm not sure all cases can be cured - If they can, unfortunately there seems to be many people still suffering.
I'd suggest you check out another thread here about avoiding dairy and gluten products to treat AR. I just read that one this morning.
Best of luck in your efforts... :)

My husband uses glucosamine for his arthritis and it works great, but he has osteo rather than rheumatoid. I have RA, and glucosamine does not work for me, but that could be just incidental.

I would suggest you to go for homeopathic. The diet and the follow up may look like cumbersome and at times think to give up. But, after a while it will give you great relief.

sadly there is no "cure" treatment is about learning how to deal with this degenrative disease and ways to cope with the pain and loss of motion. Homopathic or medical, the bottom line is you have to take active action to take care of yourself. Stress reduction and rest is important.

Exactly....and unfortunately what works great for one may be horrible for another. A lot of times it is about trial and error, but I am willing to give just about anything a try if it can help.

Recently, I was going through an online advertisement and I came across a treatment through Emu oil, a natural which contains high levels of linolenic acid, (a natural substance known to provide muscle aches and joint pain including arthritis)... and... oleic acid which provides a local anti-inflammatory effect. This is not going to be the only relief provider as we have go through Glucosamine or MSM to get the relief.
