What kind of music do you listen to? We listen to some classic rock and classical in the house, and a variety of that and current hits while driving.

If we have people over for dinner, we'll often put on the soundtrack of The Prince of Tides during the meal. There are some great tracks on that CD.

I love music-good kind of music. I am fond of mainly -country, pop and rock. I get my favorite tracks on my USB drive and enjoy it in my car, my room, while working and while studying.

I have a couple of MP3 players, but I still mostly listen to CDs or the radio.

Some people listen to specific kinds of music to relax - I wonder if that's helpful in dealing with arthritis?

I think it may contribute to your over-all well being, but I'm not aware of direct results with specific ailments.

I love all genres of music excluding Rap! Ugh. Artists like Carrie Underwood, Owl City, etc.

I don't know why, may be it's because of the illness but I prefer the classical music. I'm feeling that this music are filling me with some sort of peace and calmness.

My family of three love all kind of music, irrespective of any genre. At times it will be in full throttle with rock n roll, sometimes just a humming of religious chanting. But if my kid starts listening, it will be of filmy music with dance and dive. We do not want to stick to just one style of music.

Off late, my kid is starting to hear pop music, but I have a conservative idea about hearing pop music. Simple, because of its genre and I don't like the video footage of recent pop music albums.

Your family sounds like a lot like ours. We love classic rock here and some alternative. On the way to school, my daughter pretty much dominates the station with top 40 pop hits. And The Prince of Tides not only has an awesome soundtrack but it's one of my favorite books too.

I enjoy listening to carnatic music that originated in the southern part of India. It is a very refined form of the Indian classical music. Saint Tyagaraja, Muthuswami Dik****ar and Syama Sastri are considered to be the trinity of carnatic music. All the three hail from a place called Tiruvaiyaaru near Tanjanur in south India.
