I think that all the people on this forum know what is the arthritis pain. When I feel it I become very irritable one. For example I can't look the TV when I feel the pain. I can only read the books or listen the radio. I prefer to read historical books and what kind of books you prefer to read?

Whenever I feel pain, I just lie down and read my favorite historical romance pocketbooks. I love everything by Judith McNaught and Susan Elizabeth Phillips.

See, I have two people, my wife and my sister, both having RA. My wife is a new entrant and just some six months old into RA (pun intended). I know and watching the real pain. I would suggest you to read religious books, if you are inclined towards to religion. It would give a wonderful relief.

I too like to read books on history. I am fascinated by reading about the Mughals who ruled India from the 15th century to the 17th century. They were great rulers too. Akbar was called the great. There were wonderful monuments built and gardens laid in the parts of northern India during their regime. I like to read books explaining these kings.
