For the ladies, does your pain get worse or better, or change in any way around 'that time of the month', or any other time that hormones change, such as diabetes related, etc.?

actually I do feel that some hormonal changes effect my comfort levels. i have come to the conclusion that it is from the additional water gain that I tend to experience, it adds additional pressure to my back and hips which is where my problems are most focused

I take permission from all of you to post this, as my wife his suffering from mild RA and I have taken this from her only. She really starts complaining of severe pain during those days, even sometime prior and after. Even I or she couldn't do anything about this and she is taking it on her own strides.

Over this period, she started getting more pain and we visited our doctor thrice to get medication for an infection too. Still reeling under pain.

During the visits to the doctor with my mother I asked the same question and he replied in the affirmative and yes, harmone change has got a lot to do with RA. I asked another question? How does RA affect the children then? The answer I received was 'genetic factor!'
