What is the most painful procedure for RA?

My wife who is diagnosed with mild RA, with a slight climate change at our place started complaining about pain in her knee joints. She indeed having regular checkup.

I want to know which of the procedure really painful, both in heart and body. I am some sort of research work through online and getting started worried about this RA.

As far as I know all of the procedures are painful to the patient and enduring this pain is a plus to them. Though maybe there is one procedure that tops them most but I don't have any idea as of now.

I came to know that the MRI scan is the most painful among the many tests of the RA. This particular test it costly too.
