A very important issue (for one who is still in the early weeks of medication). I would really like to know what your, and others', rheumatologists say. I expect the answers will be highly individual, but that's OK, it would just be very useful to have a handle on the RANGE of responses that come from doctors. I'll see my Rheumy 2nd week of December, and will ask her.

I'm eager to hear the answers of your doctors especially for those with patients still in early medication and I'll try to ask my wife doctor too.

I am not arguing with anyone. My understanding says that there is no remission in RA. You have to bear the pain, as and when it occur. Becuase, even if you think there is no pain for the past months, it only implies there is some kind of relief and full cure.
