Does is anyone diagnosed with Degenerative Disc Disease (DDD)?

Is any of the fellow RA's diagnosed with Degenerative Disc Disease?

I just read about this particular ailment and looks like it is very much serious form of disease among RA.

Hi I have just joined, and I have Degenerative Dis disease in 4 of my lumbar discs, been having problems for over 10 years now. And I am currently awaiting confirmation of having RA too, my rheumy strongly suspects that I do along with another autoimmune disease too. I was not aware that others with RA had degenerative disc disease too? Maybe their is a link...

Yes, I have DJD moderately in my neck and lumbar and mildly in my thoracic. It's interesting that you mentioned this as for the last few days I've been dealing with a stiff neck from DJD. I didn't have this problem pre-RA. Swimming seems to help a lot for my symptoms.
