I would like to know something about the daily routines of fellow RA's. My wife, suffering from mild RA, ie having pain in her foot and shoulder, is undergoing treatment with our family GP. She normally woke up in morning around 6 am, do the daily chores at home for the morning session and then the most important of making ready for my son who is in the second grade. After my son left, she relaxs for few hours and then a fair amount of time in washing the clothes (as a matter of exercise, she is doing it on her own, occassionaly) going for shopping and in the evening a gentle walk of around 1 km. This is the routine she is following.

Fellow RA's, I wish to have your routine so that if something needs to be added for my wife or even other RA's can use your tips.

Sorry, mine wouldn't be any help because I'm in early, mild, RA and at the moment it isn't interfering any more than my osteoarthritis with any of my activities (remember, I have had osteo for four decades, and have an artificial hip, so I am very familiar with how arthritis in general affects one's life.) I'm retired, so my husband and I travel a lot, and when in NY, our main home, we spend time in museums, with all kinds of music, at plays in little theaters, on history walks, in neighborhood activities (yes, NY does have neighborhood community activities... -- and we keep up with a kind of general consulting in our pre-retirement careers. Nothing dramatically physical, but we do walk a lot and despite the artificial hip, I can easily walk steadily, and do so as much as possible.

I'll get you get all kinds of replies to this question.

Me and my wife's routine is still normal, I go to work, she takes care of my children, she prepares breakfast and simple house hold chores though I ask her that I'll be the one to do the dishes and laundry when I go home and after which she has her normal exercise, taking a walk or taking a swim then rests and finally she makes dinner for us.
