I just saw a commercial on tv for a RA drug called Simponi. It seems so cool. Just one injection once a month.
Is it new or has it been around for a long time, and I just now heard of it?

Has anyone tried it and how's it been working for you?

Try this URL, Crimson. It's put up by the company that makes it. Like most of the biologics it's got a pretty heavy list of possible bad side effects, posted by the company itself - but it'll be interesting to know if anyone here is using it and how it's working. Kageyd

Here is a URL that warms of potentially fatal fungal infections from Simponi, and it also states that as a concern for all biologics. Says that the doctors doing the injection need to be extremely careful.

both the links are useful and me too waiting to hear from other members about the usage. Will be visiting family GP by month end and will enquire about this.

It is called golimumab and it is a prescription medicine. It can affect the ability to fight infections and therefore doctors before prescribing it will conduct a check on your body before administering it.
