There is no complete cure for RA. But the aim of the doctors is to lessen the joint pain and the inflammation. That is why RA can be termed a lingering and nagging ailment. Work disability can of course be checked by the methods of treatment.

Knock on wood! There is no cure as of YET....but science is and medicine is getting better and better :D.

Yes, Leighdu, I agree, I'm encouraged by what I see in some of the current research findings. Not tomorrow, for sure, but in the foreseeable future. Fingers crossed (I"m all in favor of optimism). Kageyd
