List of phobia!

While we talk about self or dear one's pain through RA, I just had a thought of putting this phobia list to pass time. The intention is just because of there's another posting about of fear of height and I am taken aback to read so many phobia in the first place.

I really wonder does so many phobias exist at first place and does any aware of so many.

Writers lik us have the fear called the acousticophobia which adityaen has mentioned. It is the fear of noise which is unwanted. We need a pleasant atmosphere to write and not a noise-laden environment. But the present day is not devoid of unnecessary noise.

Fear of spiders? That's one thing I fear the most I don't know why but spiders give me the creeps.

I am yet to find in the dictionary the word indicative of the fear from spiders. Yes. You are right crimson. Spiders do generate fear down the spine. So is the case with lizards. My wife does not allow any lizard in the house. She is an expert in driving them away!
