This is a great descriptive URL, Nature, thank you. I did find it lacking on discussion of treatment, however, and I think for any beginners especially it would not be the best starting point. I still like the about.com site as the most comprehensive for beginners. But I learned a lot from the Hopkins URL. Kageyd

Nature, my apologies, I didn't explore the Hopkins site deeply enough. It is full of treatment information, and I highly recommend it to everyone here. You just have to keep on going through the many up-to-date pages and learned discussions offered. Again, THANKS.

Information gathered from such links should be preserved carefully because these information are from valid sources like books. Nowadays internet replaces books to a great extent. Browsing through the net about RA gives more information to us than that a costly book gives.

The last pic is so scary! I saw a lady in my rheumy's office with those same deformities in both hands. I felt so sad for her. That was when I made the decision not to be scared of the meds to prevent such deformities.
