walking shoes

what is a good walking shoe if you have severe RA in your feet? I want to try the new Sketchers Shape Ups, but way over my budget.

I really dont have an answer to your question but wanted to respond and hopefully others will too! I'm not sure about the Sketchers Shape Ups....Ive never tried them...I have heard they help with posture and back alignment but they also claim to give you a workout while walking and I sure dont need that! lol! Walking a while is hard enough for me sometimes! I remember when I worked in orthopedics filling in once that the ortho doc said the best shoes for feet are New Balance. I've thought about buying some. Hopefully we can get more responses from others letting us know what works for them :)

I have found that on days when i cannot walk the only shoes that i can wear are crocks, they have been an absolute god send. Try them.
