Hi Star73. I responded to you about that Houston nonsense, and somehow my response got kicked out, I think by our administrator, who was perhaps simultaneously pulling their stuff out (at least I think it's gone when I took a quick look; I'll double check).

My message was that, yes, we do have an administrator; I think it's just one person (is it Kevin?), and he does an heroic job. People who keep these sites going do so purely out of love and caring, it's a thankless job (except for the THANKS from us). My atrial fib site was run by a saint who, for over a decade now, has done such heroic things as collecting systematic data on multiple occasions from the hundreds of members on that site so that we could learn statistically what the odds would be for various kinds of treatments, surgeries, etc. It was unofficial, of course, but incredibly helpful to dozens and dozens of people over the years I was on it. And I was one of the very lucky ones to come out of those years, with their help, with my heart in rhythm again! This RA forum here is a much smaller site, but it is about the only RA forum I've found that has any regular input and a changing but viable number of participants. Bless Our Administrator!! Kageyd

i wasnt trying to bash anyone I just wondered why that post was up for so long. Other forums I go to would have had that post down and the poster banned from the site the day it was posted. So, I was just checking.

I know, Star, I was just reminiscing about how little thanks I passed along to the administrator on the AF forum. I rarely think about their "service," and I know I should. Heck, I can't even remember our current administrator's name on this forum, although I knew it once. Get so wrapped up in my own issues i sometimes forget to give thanks where thanks are due (like the NYC bus drivers who see us dodging across the street against a red light and hold the bus for us...more than on one occasion). Take care. It's really nice to have you and Paula communicating so often, this is kind of a few-person forum, and I really enjoy you both. Kageyd

Thank you Kevin for all you do.....spam always concerns me as we had an issue with a poster at another forum not only posting about selling stuff but also trying to get personal info on us. You can never be too safe and these people need to know that stuff isn't allowed. Thanks again.
