Hi, everyone. I just joined today. Does anyone know how long one has to be unable to work before filing for disability? I'm getting out of denial and now realize that I just can't continue to push myself anymore, but I can't get by without an income for very long until I've been approved for SSDI. Thanks for any info, and my heart goes out to all of my fellow RA sufferers!

I used to post here until the first of this year, until this site seemed to die. Someone steered me to Faces of Rheumatoid Arthritis on Facebook, and to Rheumatoid Arthritis Group on Facebook. Both are FAR superior to anything you will find here, with huge numbers of active participants. Kagey (you will find discussions of diability there...)
