Question about my RA. I have hashimotos and recently suspected sjogrens. My doctor ran bloodwork for me even though he didnt want to saying there was no treatment for sjogrens. My ana, ssa, ssb were negative. My RA was positive at 64. I have a history of Rheumatoid arthritis in my family. I have had severe hip pain, my endocrinologist put me on vit D (levels were low) and the pain actually went away. For years I have had neck pain a shoulder pain and have basically just lived with it. Off and on I get shoulder pain where I can barely move my arm, but it goes as quickly as it came on.
Now I am wondering if I could have RA?? Do I need to see a rheumatologist? I was pretty surprised by the elevated RA.
