Hello,

I am new to this forum and am hoping to get some support! I was unofficially diagnosed with RA a few months back. I was seen at a community clinic for severe pain in my hands and feet (and sometimes up to the arms and back), as well as visible joint inflamation and swelling. They tested my RH levels and they were high. I was put on prednisone (temporarily) and referred to a rheumatologist, to make the official diagnosis and set up a treatment plan.

The problem is, the earliest appointment I could get was August 3. Now, the prednisone is gone, and the pain is horrible. I can barely walk and work is becoming very hard. No over-the-counter meds seem to work. I am being careful of what I eat (e.g. no sugars, refined carbs, etc), but I can't seem to beat the pain.

Can anyone offer any suggestions? I do not have insurance either, so it woudl be hard to make a sooner appointment at a smaller clinic, for example.

Thank you!

I really feel for you. I know exactly what you are going through. Is there any chance the doctor would fill another prescritpion for you for the Prednisone until you can get to the Rheumatologist? Maybe if you call and explain how long it is until your appointment, they will help you out. Good luck!!

:)Hi there,

I know exactly how you feel, waiting for months to go to your doctor is ridiculous, and nerve racking. I just wanted to give you some quick info that would benefit you greatly, even help tremendously with your pain. Now I have been a skeptic in the past about natural supplements until recently. I was very sick just a few months ago, every day with flu-like symptoms and severe joint pain, and it never let up. My dad new I was ready to give up, and mind you he is a hardcore cowboy that had not been into the natural remedies at all. He took me to see a woman I have known for years, that started selling natural enyzymes call Neprinol AFD. She has RA and has not seen a doctor in a long time because she takes this. Of course I was a little skeptical but at the end of my rope, so I tried them that night and immediately had relief from pain and inflammation. In three days I was completely off of my RA meds. I am serious about this. Please check into it. Again it is called Neprinol AFD, look it up online and read about the benefits and the amazing stories of people suffering from RA,MS,Lupus, and so much more. It has now been almost two months and I am still off of my RA meds.

hi KLinMN,
be strong! this pain isn't everlasting, and there are always methods how to recover. I'd advise you consious meditation composing with breathing. if you are not ready for such ways, you can take notice of physiotherapy. it is natural, painless and effective. I use magnetotherapy and it gives me a great relief.
