Greetings:
I've been fighting symptoms of RA for about three years. I'm just another to say, diagnosis was a LONG time coming.
I've finally made it to a Rheumotoligist, and exactly what medications will be reccomended, or what my healtcare will pay for, I don't yet know.
I've been learning how NOT to use my wrists to perform everyday tasks.
I took a course of Prednisone that was perscribed by the GP after a blood test showed inflamation. It was like someone had hit a switch, and all symptoms went away.
I'm taking 15MG of Prednisone and Naproxin right now, (pednisone reduced) it's not working, and I will meet with the specialist on the third to see where we go from here.
I'm a young 60, always been active, but when you hurt, you slow down..
I wil report back of reccomended Meds, and insurance coverage.
