Hello! My name is Angela and I was diagnosed with RA about a year ago. I look to this forum to speak with others who share the misery of this disease, and to gain advice from those more experienced.
I am currently on several medications and about to add Humira. Does anyone have any experience taking this medication? Will it help with the fatigue? This is the worst part for me. It has been affecting my abilities at home for a few months, but is now starting to affect my functioning at work.

I look forward to being a member of the group.

Hi, my name is Diane and I was also diagnosed one year ago. The fatigue is my main battle also. I work full time and feel like I have nothing left when I go home from work. I discussed this with my RA doctor and she feels I should be adding exercise to my daily routine. More specifically cardio such as walking, treadmill, Nordic track. Because I haven't included any exercise in the past year with 3 flare ups, she feels that alot of the fatigue is related to lack of exercise. So I'm starting to push myself to do this and I'll let you know of any improvement. I am on Methotrexate and prednisone.

roxyblue,

I am on Humira pen and methatrexiate 6 tabs weekly. I have been taking Humira about 6 months, taking an injection every 2 weeks. I can tell it has helped me some, not as much as some people have reported but some. The injection is painful. I take it in the upper thigh and have tried in the stomach both hurt. Wishing you much luck with your treatment.:)

Hi! I can see that everybody has been diagnosed with RA. Well, I am quite different and I would be glad to hear some information about this sickness. I have little information about RA. If I am not mistaken, this has something to do with joints. Anyway, are there some stages for RA? Is there a mild or severe RA?
